Course Description

Students have the chance to learn about careers by following and observing people actually doing their jobs in the workplace (called “job-shadowing”).  Students will explore several careers of interest, allowing interaction with different workers and observation of a variety of job activities.  Students learn how to recognize and evaluate different entrepreneurial styles and practices and understand the problem-solving required to start and manage a business.  Enrollment is open to students entering grades 8-12 and is a prerequisite for the “Internship”.
